Walking On A Dream

Sometimes people put up swings in different parks. They usually don’t last that long because, the par police usually take them down. Which I get but, I wish they could work something out and figure out how to make them a permanent addition. They are the funnest thing to come across on a hike, so if you do see one it is a must that you take a swing because, you may not get the chance to do so tomorrow.

I was at the park with Son and I saw a rope just hanging from the tree but, no seat. A lady I passing by was bummed explaining how much fun she had swinging on it the day before. I decided to go there the next day and there was a new one up. I spent 15 minutes swinging on realizing and pretending I was flying! It really was the best afternoon of nature bathing I’ve had in a spell.

This is the first look from the pink plaid linen I dug out of my stash. Actually it's almost like a double layered gauze. I didn't realize this until I was cutting and the pink layer pulled off a little. It is making it a little tricky to work but, I am so excited to create the pieces.

It's perfect for summer! It’s lightweight, breathable, and comfortable to wear all day in the warm weather. The pink plaid just makes me so happy! It puts me in the mood for a picnic at the park.
