Hermit and The Frog

Yasssss my new favorite outfit! Actually all of the pink fleece I have been living in - literally! The sum was out and warm today. I prefer overcast because, it is the best light to shoot in. I love sunshine it just makes it a little trickier working with the shadows and contrast. I saw this mural posted on @mural_johnny instagram page a local [photographer that shoots and posts different murals around the city. I love pages like this because, if I don’t have a place in mind or have time to explore I can pop on and see what strikes my fancy.

I was actually going to shoot this outfit at a different mural over in North Beach but, I changed my mind when I saw this one! It is located on Valencia near 17th street and surprisingly I was able to park right in front of it. I love everything about this mural the frog and her pink lips. The one not so fun thing about the city is the garbage element let’s be real San Francisco is dirty as fuck. Today was one of those days I had to clear some garbage out the way before I could shoot. Actually I guess it was sort of on point for my morning. I was spilling things and a bit of a mess when I was getting ready go I somehow got foundation on my pants?! Which is why I usually do makeup and hair before I put my outfit on - lol. Luckily the sun was so bright because, you couldn’t really see it.

I couldn’t get the stain out before I left I was already running behind schedule but, I will work on getting it out, The stay put foundation these days is almost like cement spackle. Actually all of my spills and falls these days as inspired me to do a post on how to get stains out of fabric post! Stain or no stain I wanted to shoot and be outside for a spell. I usually always get out a little to take son out but, sometimes days can go by and I have been in the hive working with no sunlight. I actually finally got a laptop and was super excited to work at the park but, I couldn’t get my internet to connect so, I will have to figure that out. I was super excited I packed a lunch and setup on a perfect spot on the grass with Son! I was so excited and after 40 minutes of trying to get it t connect I gave up on working at the park and just decided to stay and relax a bit. That’s how life goes not always as planned but, still works out.

I had so much fun getting some hair whip shots. I didn't wear the right sunglasses though lol they were a looser fit and kept flying off. I kept trying from different angles just hoping to get something.
