Lavender Blues

I am a huge fan of the skort or skirt legging! I love style and functionality of the concept. I remember a fabulous pair of skort trousers I bought in the late 90s. I actually still own some really cute ones in my arsenal.

The legging style skort it is really flattering. It blurs the midriff while still adding length to those gams with the color line. I love outfits I can be active in without changing. This look checks all the boxes!

These cute sneakers inspired the color pallet for this look. Here in San Francisco winter but, really all year long it’s about the layers. You can experience ten different temperature fluctuations on any given day.

The best part of the pink sweater is the back has a shoulder blade cutout. The leopard print would look so cute popping out like that adding another layer of dimension to the look. Click the link below to check it out. Cutouts are a fun way to play with layering colors and prints underneath the cutout to add visual depth to your look. I die for this lavender wool-blend coat. I like to play around with layering and mixing different styles in different ways. This is a sporty look but, structured pieces like the coat, handbag, and sweater add polish to the look.

For me, this is the perfect any-day outfit really. I don’t keep “regular” office hours so a snippet of a typical day could be me hiking with Son in the morning, a zoom call with a client, and a volleyball game at the rec center, and everything else in between. Having an outfit that I don’t have to change multiple times a day and still look good and pulled together DING DONG!
