All About The Shoes
Shoes are by far my favorite thing to wear and shop for. I mean they can be the statement of a whole outfit! I love the ingenuity of these new sustainable fashion brands that have been hitting the scene in the last ten years or so. Let us be real fashion is one of the most unsustainable and wasteful industries out there.
I am always on the hunt for sustainable fashion brands and my recent discovery is this beautiful shoe brand Viviai. A shoe brand that recycles plastic turning them into stylish comfortable footwear that you can wear with anything. They sell directly from their website to cut down on retail costs.
The company came to be in June 2020, Vivaia is a vegan company with a mission to create eco-friendly footwear for women. Their shoes have a recycled plastic bottle upper that is paired with other vegan materials like natural latex, rubber, and microfiber.
For the unique knitted upper, Vivaia chips the plastic bottles and extrudes them into thread. The thread is knitted with seamless 3D machines that cause no extra waste. I mean how cool is that!! With zero waste production as the goal, Vivaia shoes also come in recyclable packaging.
They have so many cute styles to choose from. The flats are the I would say staple shoe with sixteen different styles to choose from but, it doesn’t stop there. Vivaia also has a great range vegan loafers, mules, sneakers, sandals, and vegan boots for women. The styles are chic and elegant, and are available in many bright and pastel colorways. The knitted upper is soft and breathable while the arch-supported natural latex insole minimizes odor. Big bonus all of the shoes are machine-washable.
I myself have not yet had the experience of wearing these shoes but, I am excited to order my first pair and take them out for a wear. I am excited to share with you my take on them once I decide which pair to order first. I am finding it difficult to choose a style but, in the mean time I have listed some of my favorite pairs below.

There were so many shoes to choose from and beings I could barely stop at fifteen! This was fun I decided to focus on three looks give you multiple options of shoes that would work with the outfit. I’ve put together a casual, business casual, and business looks for inspiration. It started with the rainbow jeans I mean YAAAASSS! The yellow inspired me and carried me through all three looks!

Best of both worlds! The best part is how easily this dress flows right into winter layering on super cute tights, scarves, and your favorite boots!

Can’t stop won’t stop the rainbow! I was obsessed the contrast of the more neutral shoes with the gem popping outfit. I love mixing lots of colors and prints!
A few questions to ask when creating your color pallet. What are your colors and how are you using them. Are they all in the same color tone or are you mixing gem colors with pastels for example.
Think about how the colors are layered. Are they complimenting or contrasting each other. For example of you are mixing light and dark you want to use your darker colors as the base and or accents. Think of light contouring and highlighting your face. Anything lighter will draw the eye in and vice versus withbthe darker colors.
Starting with the base layer with this look for example I wanted the pink top and pants. Just these alone make a cute outfit that’s ready to hit the pavement.
By adding the blazer you the full on marigold effect and the pop of pink adds a nice color break in the suit drawing the eye upward. Then the blue coat with the pop of that marigold peaking out! And finally the accessories pulling all of the colors together!
When you start thinking about you outfit this way it makes it easier to build different looks from your closet. This look could be worn two different ways business and casual. So theoretically you have two looks set for the week with a few quick changes!
