Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice
This look is inspired by Delia Deetz from Beetlejuice or Moira from Schitts Creek - Right! This is the perfect example of mixing multiple prints. The key to achieving the right balance between the prints without them blending together into a blurry mess is color and shape. Start with the color pallet here it is the suit black and white, I love the contrast of the stripes and polka dots. So you have the color palette and print as the foundation focal point now you can start playing with other prints or colors to layer. It doesnβt even have to be different prints this blouse could easily be a red polka dot or vertical stripe print and would look amazing.
The black and white in these bold prints can be sort of hypnotic if you look at it long :) by adding a color you give the eye visual ground points. I chose the animal print red blouse for two reasons; I wanted to add different print compliments the polka dots and stripes secondly, to add a visual break of color. You can also see the subtle design elements of the boot tie in the rounded and sharp angles of the prints and again the pop of red to add another visual break.
