Stray Cat Strut
One of my favorite things I love to wear is catsuits. I am a little obsessed! I have always been a lover of the cinema. Movies were a visual escape from the world I knew and to be honest nothing has changed. There are some movies I've seen a million times for different reasons, the story, cinematography, costume design. I find so much inspiration in them because, I am a visual person. I watch ones I love multiple times because, there are so many visual details I notice each time. A side effect I have also gotten really good a noticing when the scene continuity is off lol.
I was younger in the 80s and 90s so catsuits were really popular in film. I actually watched a lot of adult films before my age was probably (no not those ones you dirty bird) appropriate for them. One of my all time favorite movies was and is Death Becomes Her. I have the movie on dvd and it is still a regular in the movie rotation. I think that was when the love for catsuits really took hold. I mean Meryl and Goldie I was dead! When Meryl came back after taking the potion and put on the black catsuit with the purple silk organza jacket cinched in with the belt. Or Goldie with the black capri one and the red heels!!
Yes! It is sort of a pain to being in one when you have pee but, I think it’s well worth it. They are comfortable to wear and you can style them in so many ways. You can layer them up with just about anything. Throw on a sweater and cute pair of boots or like I did here a cute belt and denim crop jacket and belt. Super cute still even if you need to take the jacket off. I recommend having at least one in your wardrobe because, they can be styled from casual to glam very easily. You don’t have to go full on print but, one any one in a neutral color will work with your existing wardrobe and add a lot of new looks to your arsenal.
